Termed India’s own Disneyland, Imagicaa is a great place for a one-day picnic. It is inspired by Indian classic folk tales and culture with themes that reflect from Mr. India to Mughal Empire, it’s one heck of an amusement park in Mumbai to tag along with friends or family. Also, there are hotel facilities for people who wish to stay overnight at Novotel Imagicaa.
Entry charges: Tickets start around Rs. 1699 for Adults and Rs. 1499 for Children/Seniors, though prices vary by day. For a complete experience including the Water Park, combo deals often start from Rs. 2699.

Yazoo Park
Yazoo Park is the best for a one-day picnic with less crowd and great rides. It has everything you can ask for in an amusement park, Musical Fountains, Rides, Rock Shows, Fish pedicures, and Net crickets. Above all, it’s economical to visit this Park when you have a shorthand at money to spend on the weekend for family.

Tikuji Ni Wadi
Filled with fun, it’s a joy ride in nature with reasonable prices. There is a small amusement park, especially for children. The DJ is awesome, you won’t stop dancing. There is a realistic dinosaur park with a facility for ATV cars. A must picnic to beat your exhaustion.
Entry charges: Around Rs. 800–1000, typically including access to the water park, though charges can vary — check the official site before visiting.

Wonders Park
Do you want to see miniatures of the Seven Wonders of the World? In Mumbai? Yes! There are miniature wonders just by your side, in Navi Mumbai, Nerul. The park is named Wonders Park for this augmentation. Along with that, it’s huger than other parks in Mumbai with small rides and slides for kids, some of which are chargeable otherwise it’s a wholesome experience for a family. After a massive renovation, the park now features a spectacular musical fountain and laser show in the evenings that you shouldn’t miss.
Entry charges: Rs 50 for Adults and Rs 25 for Children. Note that the park is closed on Mondays for maintenance. The musical fountain typically starts after 7:00 PM and usually requires a separate nominal fee.

Essel World
While Essel World was once India’s oldest and most iconic amusement park, the dry rides section has been permanently closed since 2022. However, its sister attraction, Water Kingdom, is still very much alive and remains one of Asia’s largest themed water parks. It is the perfect place to beat the heat with massive wave pools and high-speed slides like the Bratzone and Turbo Terminator.
Entry charges: Approximately Rs. 1180 for Adults and Rs. 997 for Children (online rates). Rates may vary during special events or at the counter. College students can often grab a discount by showing their valid IDs!
